1. Acceptance of Terms
By downloading, accessing, or using the Fixer mobile application and related services (the "Platform"), you agree to be bound by these Terms and Conditions ("Terms"). If you do not agree to these Terms, you must not use the Platform.
These Terms constitute a legally binding agreement between you and Fixer. We reserve the right to modify these Terms at any time. Your continued use of the Platform after any changes constitutes acceptance of the updated Terms.
2. Description of Services
Fixer is a home maintenance services marketplace operating in the Kingdom of Saudi Arabia. The Platform connects customers seeking home maintenance services with qualified, independent service providers. Our services include but are not limited to:
• Installation, repair, inspection, cleaning, and replacement services for home maintenance
• Online booking and scheduling of service appointments
• Secure payment processing
• Real-time order tracking and service updates
• Emergency and urgent service requests
Fixer acts as an intermediary platform. We do not directly perform home maintenance services. Service providers are independent professionals and are not employees of Fixer.
3. User Accounts and Registration
To use the Platform, you must create an account by providing a valid phone number and completing OTP (one-time password) verification. You agree to:
• Provide accurate and complete registration information
• Maintain the security of your account credentials
• Notify us immediately of any unauthorized use of your account
• Accept responsibility for all activities under your account
You must be at least 18 years of age to create an account and use the Platform. Fixer reserves the right to suspend or terminate accounts that violate these Terms.
4. Service Provider Terms
Service providers who register on the Platform agree to the following additional terms:
• Submit valid identity and professional qualification documents for verification
• Maintain accurate availability schedules and service capabilities
• Provide services in a professional, timely, and workmanlike manner
• Comply with all applicable Saudi Arabian laws, regulations, and licensing requirements
• Maintain appropriate insurance coverage as required by law
• Keep real-time location sharing active while on duty for dispatch and customer tracking purposes
Fixer reserves the right to approve, suspend, or remove service providers from the Platform at its sole discretion based on performance, compliance, or customer feedback.
5. Booking and Orders
When placing an order through the Platform:
• You must provide an accurate service location and description of the work required
• You may upload photos to help describe the service needed
• You must select a preferred date and time slot from available options
• Orders are subject to provider availability in your area
• Emergency orders are subject to additional surcharges and expedited dispatch
Once an order is confirmed and a provider is assigned, both parties are expected to fulfill their respective obligations. The order progresses through defined stages: created, payment pending, waiting for provider, accepted, en route, arrived, in progress, and completed.
6. Pricing, Fees, and Payments
All prices on the Platform are displayed in Saudi Riyals (SAR). The total cost of a service includes:
• Base Price: The listed price for the selected service
• VAT: Value Added Tax at 15% as mandated by Saudi Arabian tax regulations
• Service Fee: A fixed platform service fee of 10 SAR per order
• Emergency Surcharge: An additional percentage applied to urgent service requests (displayed before booking)
• Parts and Materials: Additional costs for parts if the technician supplies them, as selected during booking
• Minimum Order Fee: A supplemental charge applied if the order subtotal falls below the platform minimum
Promotional discounts may be applied using valid promo codes. Discounts are subject to terms, usage limits, and expiration dates. The final price displayed at checkout is the amount you will be charged.
Payments are processed through secure payment gateways integrated with the Platform. Fixer does not store your credit card or payment card details directly.
7. Cancellation and Refunds
Cancellation policies are as follows:
• Customers may cancel an order before a provider has been assigned at no charge
• Cancellations after provider assignment may be subject to cancellation fees
• Providers who repeatedly cancel accepted orders may face account suspension
• Refunds, when applicable, will be processed to the original payment method
Fixer reserves the right to cancel orders in cases of suspected fraud, safety concerns, or violations of these Terms. Dispute resolution for contested charges is handled through our support team.
8. User Conduct and Responsibilities
All users of the Platform agree to:
• Use the Platform only for its intended purpose of booking and providing home maintenance services
• Treat all other users with respect and professionalism
• Provide truthful information in profiles, reviews, and communications
• Not engage in fraudulent, abusive, or illegal activities through the Platform
• Not attempt to circumvent the Platform to arrange services directly with providers
• Not submit false reviews or ratings
• Not interfere with the Platform’s functionality or security
Violations of these conduct standards may result in account suspension or permanent removal from the Platform.
9. Reviews and Ratings
After a service is completed, customers may leave a rating and written review for the provider. Reviews must be honest, relevant, and based on the actual service experience. Fixer reserves the right to remove reviews that contain offensive language, false statements, or violate these Terms.
10. Intellectual Property
All content, trademarks, logos, designs, and software associated with the Fixer Platform are the property of Fixer and are protected by applicable intellectual property laws. You may not:
• Copy, modify, or distribute any part of the Platform without written permission
• Use the Fixer name, logo, or branding for any unauthorized purpose
• Reverse engineer, decompile, or disassemble the Platform’s software
11. Limitation of Liability
To the maximum extent permitted by law:
• Fixer provides the Platform on an "as is" and "as available" basis without warranties of any kind, whether express or implied
• Fixer is not liable for the quality, safety, or legality of services provided by independent service providers
• Fixer is not responsible for any direct, indirect, incidental, or consequential damages arising from the use of the Platform
• Fixer’s total liability shall not exceed the amount you paid for the specific service giving rise to the claim
Fixer does not guarantee uninterrupted or error-free operation of the Platform. Scheduled maintenance or unforeseen issues may temporarily affect availability.
12. Indemnification
You agree to indemnify and hold Fixer harmless from any claims, damages, losses, or expenses (including legal fees) arising from your use of the Platform, violation of these Terms, or infringement of any third-party rights.
13. Dispute Resolution
In the event of a dispute between users (customers and providers), Fixer will make reasonable efforts to mediate and resolve the issue through its support team. If a dispute cannot be resolved through mediation, it shall be referred to the competent courts in the Kingdom of Saudi Arabia.
14. Governing Law
These Terms are governed by and construed in accordance with the laws of the Kingdom of Saudi Arabia. Any legal action arising from or related to these Terms shall be subject to the exclusive jurisdiction of the courts in the Kingdom of Saudi Arabia.
15. Termination
Fixer may suspend or terminate your account at any time for violation of these Terms, fraudulent activity, or any other reason at its sole discretion. Upon termination:
• Your access to the Platform will be revoked
• Any pending orders may be cancelled
• Providers will receive payment for completed services
• Data retention will follow our Privacy Policy and applicable legal requirements
16. Modifications to Terms
Fixer reserves the right to update or modify these Terms at any time. Changes will be effective upon posting to the Platform. We will notify users of material changes through the app or via push notification. Continued use of the Platform after modifications constitutes acceptance of the revised Terms.
